About this site

Virgin Drop is one of Boracay's deeper and more dramatic wall dives, starting at 18 metres and reaching about 35 metres. It is ideal for advanced divers and deep dive training, and the boat ride takes 10 to 12 minutes.

A vertical wall drops into the blue, decorated with large sea fans, soft corals and crinoids. Bass, moray eels and nudibranchs sit in the crevices, and a white-tip reef shark may hide in the wall cracks. Big turtles and pygmy seahorses are also seen, and eagle rays or barracuda sometimes glide through the thermoclines during tidal changes.
