Lighthouse is a dive site featuring a slowly descending plateau that leads into a deeply gouging valley lined with heavy, massive coral formations. The entry point begins at around 5 metres on a sloping sandy bottom, descending to a maximum depth of 25 metres. At roughly 16 metres the terrain shifts to a landslide-like breakage before dropping into the valley below.
The valley and surrounding coral heads and rocks make the site well suited to macro photography, with smaller marine life spread throughout. Along the descending slope and into the valley, divers encounter emperor fish, big groupers, and surgeon fish, while the valley itself holds white tip reef sharks, schooling mackerel, schooling sweetlips, and an abundance of reef fish. Water temperature ranges from 27 to 29°C.
Lighthouse is listed as a technical difficulty site. Entry is by boat. The site also appears alongside locations within the Sekotong area, where the broader region is noted for attracting photographers and scuba enthusiasts of all kinds.
