Rasdhoo Atoll in the Maldives offers a reef wall that drops from 5 metres straight down to 30 metres. A gentle current carries divers along the wall, and the conditions suit breath-hold diving as well as other forms of diving.
Water temperature stays between 28 and 30 degrees C throughout the year, and visibility exceeds 20 metres. Marine life is abundant, and divers have reported manta rays, hawksbill turtles and nurse sharks here. The best months run from November to April.
Confirmed by our research team, reported by independent divers, or observed nearby via iNaturalist — each entry is labelled with its source.
