Yapak 1 is a wall dive off Boracay in the Philippines, one of two remote islands with steep walls that drop 30 to 70 metres and are covered in corals of nearly every shape and colour. It is the most popular and perhaps the most challenging dive on Boracay.
The dive starts at 30 metres and needs a negative entry down to a maximum of 40 metres. Whitetip and grey reef sharks, dogtooth tuna, groupers and rays are seen, along with large tuna and snapper.
Confirmed by our research team, reported by independent divers, or observed nearby via iNaturalist — each entry is labelled with its source.
