About this site

Abu Ramada Cave sits within the Abu Ramada reef area in the Red Sea off Hurghada, in Qesm Hurghada, Red Sea Governorate, Egypt, reached by dive boats on day trips out of Hurghada into the surrounding offshore reef systems. The site is a cave dive over a reef bottom, reaching a maximum depth of around 30 metres, rated advanced due to strong current. Nudibranchs are common on the reef, and divers have also reported bannerfish, barracuda, grouper, leopard and zebra sharks, lionfish, Napoleon wrasse, reef sharks, and stingrays around the site.
