Nosy Be sits off the northwest coast of Madagascar, in the Diana region, and is surrounded by a scatter of smaller islands and reef areas that dive operators based around Hell-Ville and Ambatoloaka use as their local sites. A site named Abyss in these waters would be one of the many reef and drop-off spots reached by short boat rides from the main island.
