About this site
Agnay Sanctuary lies off Romblon Island in the Romblon province of the Philippines, part of a group of islands between Luzon and the Visayas known for marble quarrying and surrounding reef waters. Sites in this stretch of the Sibuyan Sea are typically reached by short boat trips from the town of Romblon. The sanctuary sits over a reef bottom with a maximum depth of around 12 metres and is considered a beginner dive. Divers have reported thresher sharks and trevally passing through here.
