The Air Force Barge sits in the Gulf of Mexico off the Florida Panhandle, near Destin, at a maximum depth of around 21 metres. As an artificial site, it consists of a sunken barge placed or settled on the seabed to function as a reef structure. Boats out of the Destin area typically run this site given its proximity to shore.
