About this site
Airport Place lies in the waters off Maupiti, one of the westernmost islands in the Society Islands of French Polynesia, near the motu that hosts the island's small airstrip. Maupiti sits just northwest of Bora Bora and is ringed by a lagoon and barrier reef, with dive and snorkel sites accessed by boat from the main village. Divers here have also reported small giant clams on the reef.
