About this site
Maupiti sits at the western end of the Society Islands in French Polynesia, a small island encircled by a lagoon and barrier reef, west of Bora Bora. Vertige De Maupiti is a pass or outer reef site associated with this lagoon system, reached by boat from the main village. Divers here have reported small giant clams and whitebarred gobies among the reef life.
