About this site
The Aldebaran Wreck lies off Bel Ombre on the western coast of Mahé, the largest island of Seychelles, in waters that sit on the shallow granitic bank before it gives way to deeper channels between the inner islands. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 40 metres and is rated an advanced dive. Divers have reported grouper around the wreck, and access requires prior approval from Seychelles authorities before diving it.
