About this site
Aluth Gal Mattha is a reef site off Galle, on Sri Lanka's southwestern coast, reached by small boat from the fishing harbor there. It reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated a beginner dive. The site sits among the scattering of local reef and rock formations typical of this stretch of shoreline south of Colombo.
