About this site
Anchor is a reef site on the Indian Ocean coast near Maputo, Mozambique's capital, reached by boat trips run out of Maputo Bay by local operators. It reaches a maximum depth of around 21 metres and is rated an advanced dive. Divers have reported batfish, butterflyfish, clownfish, damselfish, nudibranchs, and sea turtles around the reef here.
