About this site
Anemone Bay lies along the coast of New South Wales near Coffs Harbour, in an area of rocky headlands and sheltered bays typical of this stretch of the Australian coastline. The coordinates place it close to the Solitary Islands Marine Park, a region known for its mix of tropical and temperate waters, which allows species from both zones to overlap on the same reef. Divers here have also reported clownfish among the anemones that give the bay its name.
