About this site
This old wooden tug sank when her stern bearings broke loose and the propeller shaft fell out. The pumps couldn't handle the leak. Tugts dragged the bottom several times searching for her, but she wasn't located until 1997 using side-scan sonar. Lies in about 27.4 m; sank 1886.
