About this site

Arco Point lies along the coastline of Panglao Island, off the southwest tip of Bohol in the Visayas region of the Philippines, part of the broader Panglao diving area typically reached by short boat rides from resorts around Alona Beach and the surrounding barangays. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 11.5 metres over cave-influenced terrain, with light current and a difficulty rated intermediate. Frogfish and nudibranchs are common finds here, and divers have also reported batfish, garden eels, ghost pipefish, lionfish, moray eels, humphead wrasse, octopus, scorpionfish, sea turtles, and snapper. Sea snakes have been noted at the site as well.
