About this site
Back Faru lies in the Maldives, within the atoll archipelago whose reefs and channels sit scattered across this stretch of the central Indian Ocean. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 20 metres and is considered a beginner-friendly dive over a reef bottom. Divers have described it as a drift dive that can bring strong current, so conditions are worth checking before entry. Frogfish, leaf scorpionfish, nudibranchs, and Napoleon wrasse have all been spotted here.
