Faru Corner

Faru Corner sits on a reef corner in North Male Atoll, in Kaafu Atoll near Hulhumale in the Maldives. Sites along these atoll rims typically front the channels that cut between the reef flats and open water. The reef here reaches a maximum depth of around 16 metres and is rated a beginner dive, though a steep dropoff runs along the corner and divers have noted strong surge, including in the shallower parts. Eagle rays and manta rays have been spotted passing the corner, along with humphead wrasse working the reef.
