About this site
Bahia Honda State Park, at mile marker 37 near Marathon in the Florida Keys, is a shore snorkelling spot reached straight from its sandy beaches. Natural sand beaches are rare in the Keys, and here they give an easy entry into shallow, clear water.
The calm shallows hold plenty of marine life and suit beginners, families and young snorkellers. More experienced snorkellers can paddle a kayak out to the offshore patch reefs.
