About this site
Bahia Honda State Park sits on Bahia Honda Key in the lower Florida Keys, along the Overseas Highway between Marathon and Key West. The park fronts both the Atlantic side and the Gulf side of the key, with sandy beaches and shallow flats used for snorkeling trips run out of the park's marina. The reef area here tops out at around 3.4 metres, making it a beginner site well suited to the shallow, calm conditions found close to shore.
