Baixa Do Lobo lies off the coast of Madeira, the volcanic Portuguese island in the North Atlantic, typically reached by boat from the island's southern coast where the seabed drops quickly into deep Atlantic water. The reef here reaches a maximum depth of around 40 metres and is rated a beginner dive, though divers have noted current and depth as factors worth watching.
