About this site
Cocos Island lies in the Pacific Ocean roughly 550 kilometres off the coast of Costa Rica, and its surrounding waters are protected as a national park reached only by liveaboard from the mainland. The seamounts and submerged rocky ridges around the island are known collectively for pelagic-focused diving in open water far from shore.
