Cocos Island sits in the Pacific about 550 kilometres off the coast of Costa Rica, a remote and largely uninhabited national park known as a offshore diving destination reached only by liveaboard. The island's underwater terrain is volcanic, with rocky pinnacles, arches, and channels shaped by strong oceanic currents.
