About this site
Barracuda Shoal sits off New Providence in the Bahamas, on the shallow limestone and sand formations typical of this edge of the Great Bahama Bank. It is a reef site with a maximum depth of around 9.1 metres, making it a straightforward beginner dive. Barracuda and grouper are regularly found here, and divers have also reported angelfish, eagle rays, and snapper on the reef.
