About this site
Basura sits along the Anilao coastline in Mabini, Batangas, on the west side of the Batangas Bay area of southern Luzon. This stretch of coast is part of the Verde Island Passage, a region known generally for its rich muck and macro diving conditions, reached by short boat rides from the many resorts along the Anilao shoreline. The site itself is shallow, with a maximum depth of around 10 metres, and is rated a beginner dive.
