About this site
Batu Gosoh is a dive site near Bangka Island, off the northeastern tip of Sulawesi in Indonesia, close to the Bangka Strait between the mainland and Bangka itself. The area is part of the wider Bangka archipelago diving region, reached by boat from resorts and dive operators based on Bangka Island or nearby Likupang on the Sulawesi mainland. The site has a rocky bottom and reaches depths of around 40 metres, rated an advanced dive. Divers here have reported dugongs, whale sharks, and octopus passing through, along with smaller finds like harlequin shrimp, mantis shrimp, and nudibranchs on the rock structure.
