About this site
Beagle Rocks lies just off Santiago Island in the Galapagos archipelago, one of several volcanic outcrops scattered along the island's coastline, within the waters administered as Ecuador's Galapagos Marine Reserve. The site is a wall dive reaching a maximum depth of around 25 metres, rated advanced with medium current, and divers have reported strong currents adding to the challenge. Manta rays are a regular sighting here, and divers have also reported hammerhead sharks, jacks and amberjack, sea turtles, and stonefish along the wall.
