About this site
Rapida sits off Santiago Island in the Galapagos archipelago, one of the volcanic islands on the western side of the group in Ecuadorian waters. It is a beginner dive site with a maximum depth of around 18 metres. Dive sites around Santiago are typically reached by boat from liveaboards or day trips operating out of the central islands.
