Big Brother Island Wrecks

Big Brother Island is one of two Brother Islands rising from open water in the Egyptian Red Sea, north of Hurghada and reachable mainly by liveaboard. It carries two well known wreck sites, the Numidia and the Aida, both draped along the island's steep drop-offs. The Numidia lies on the north side, its bow shallow and stern sliding into deep water, while the Aida rests near the south side of the island. These are generally treated as advanced dives because of depth and the current that sweeps the island, and divers have also reported barracuda, hammerhead sharks, Napoleon wrasse, and thresher sharks along the walls.
