Black Bird Point sits along the coastline of Utila, one of the Bay Islands off the Caribbean coast of Honduras, an area known for its fringing reef and served by dive operators based near Utila Town. The Bay Islands form the southern end of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef system. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 21 metres.
