About this site
Black Forest Wall lies off New Providence in the Bahamas, along the drop-off where the shallow Great Bahama Bank gives way to the deep water of the Tongue of the Ocean. The site reaches a maximum depth of about 24.4 metres and is rated a beginner dive, making the top of the wall accessible for those still building experience with wall diving. As with much of this stretch of coast, the appeal comes from the contrast between the shallow bank and the open blue beyond the edge.
