About this site
Black Rock lies off the coast of New South Wales, Australia, near the coordinates placing it around the Coffs Harbour region. It reaches a maximum depth of about 15 metres and is considered a beginner-friendly dive. Divers have reported bannerfish, clownfish, and trevally around the rock, along with larger visitors such as eagle rays, manta rays, leopard sharks, nurse sharks, wobbegongs, and even whales passing through. Leaf scorpionfish have also been spotted here for those who look closely among the reef structure.
