About this site
Blue Cove lies within the Skellig Islands off the coast of County Kerry, in Ireland's southwestern province of Munster. This is an exposed stretch of Atlantic water off the Iveragh Peninsula, reached by boat from the Kerry coast. Divers have reported grouper and hammerhead shark sightings here, though these cold North Atlantic waters are an unusual range for both species.
