About this site
Old Lighthouse Reef lies off the Skellig Islands in County Kerry, on Ireland's southwest coast in the province of Munster, an area exposed to the open Atlantic swell. The Skelligs, made up of Skellig Michael and Little Skellig, sit several kilometres offshore and are reachable only by boat from the Kerry mainland, weather permitting.
