Bo'a Corner

Bo'a Corner lies off Rote Island, south of Timor in Indonesia's Lesser Sunda chain, an area known for the passage of strong currents between the Indian Ocean and the Savu Sea. Dive sites along this coast are typically reached by small boat from villages near the island's southern and western shores. This reef reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated an advanced dive, with currents that can turn strong and turbulent. Sweetlips and trevally are common on the reef, and divers have also reported barracuda, batfish, frogfish, fusilier, grouper, mantis shrimp, humphead wrasse, nudibranchs, and snapper around the site.
