Boca Santu Pretu

Boca Santu Pretu lies along the rugged northwest coast of Curaçao, an area of rocky inlets and boca formations where the island's interior countryside meets the Caribbean Sea. Sites along this stretch are generally more exposed to swell and wind than the sheltered leeward sites near Willemstad, and reaching the area typically involves a drive through the countryside rather than the resort strip further south. Divers here have reported a wide range of hard corals on the bottom, including blushing star coral, boulder brain coral, boulder star coral, greater star coral, lettuce coral, lobed star coral, massive starlet coral, mountainous star coral, mustard hill coral, and smooth flower coral.
