About this site
Bodu Giri lies near Kudafolhudhoo in Ari Atoll, one of the larger atolls on the western side of the Maldivian archipelago. The site takes its name from a coral outcrop, or giri, rising from the atoll floor, a formation typical of the reef structures scattered through this part of the Maldives. It reaches a maximum depth of around 25 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have also reported Napoleon wrasse around the giri.
