About this site
Bonsai lies within Komodo National Park, in the waters around Rinca in West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. Dive sites in this stretch of the park are typically reached by liveaboard or day boat out of Labuan Bajo, threading through the channels between Komodo and Rinca islands. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated an intermediate dive. Divers here have also reported manta rays passing through.
