About this site
Brighton Pier sits on the seafront of Brighton and Hove, on the English Channel coast of southern England. Divers entering from this stretch of shingle beach dive beneath and around the pier structure itself, in the open waters off East Sussex. It's a shallow shore dive to around 6 metres, rated for beginners, though divers have flagged the active boat pier's no-go zones and the overhead environment created by the pier structure as hazards worth being aware of.
