About this site
The HMHS Britannic lies in the Aegean Sea off the coast of Kea, in the Kythnos Channel of Greece. It was the sister ship of the Titanic, built for the White Star Line and pressed into service as a hospital ship during the First World War, sinking in 1916 after striking a mine. The wreck rests at a maximum depth of around 110 metres and is rated a technical dive.
