Buddy's Reef sits along the leeward coast of Bonaire, part of the island's shore-diving strip of marked sites accessible directly from the road. Like much of Bonaire's western coast, it lies within the Bonaire National Marine Park, where divers typically wade or step in from shore and swim out over a shallow reef flat before it slopes deeper.
