About this site
Bullock Rock lies off the County Donegal coastline in the province of Ulster, on Ireland's northwest Atlantic seaboard, and is typically reached by boat from one of the small harbours dotted along that stretch. It is an intermediate dive reaching a maximum depth of around 27 metres, with deep cuts in the rock and shear drops giving the formation a broken, dramatic profile. Divers have also reported Ballan wrasse and common dragonet moving among the rock, along with Devonshire cup coral, spiny starfish, seven armed sea stars, European edible sea urchins, and Atlantic black sea cucumbers on the surfaces around it.
