Shark Rock lies along the County Donegal coastline in the Irish province of Ulster, on the Atlantic seaboard of northwest Ireland, with sites in this stretch typically reached by boat from local coastal harbours. It is a beginner dive over a rocky bottom, reaching a maximum depth of around 12 metres, with generally good visibility. Divers have reported mackerel and wrasse around the rock.
