Bungalow Bay South Wall sits off Racha Yai Island, south of Phuket in the Andaman Sea, a common day trip destination for boats out of Chalong or Rawai harbours. This particular wall reaches a maximum depth of around 25 metres and is rated a beginner dive, fitting the island's broader mix of granite formations and sandy patches found at its various named entry points. Divers here have reported a wide range of reef fish including angelfish, bannerfish, batfish, clownfish, damselfish, fusiliers, snapper, sweetlips, surgeonfish, trevally, triggerfish and wrasse, along with grouper, pufferfish, scorpionfish and nudibranchs. Eagle rays and leopard sharks have also been spotted along the wall, and mantis shrimp turn up in the sandy patches nearby.
