About this site
Cades Reef lies along the southwestern coast of Antigua, facing the Caribbean Sea, and forms part of a protected marine park that runs for several kilometres offshore. The reef is sheltered from the Atlantic swell by the island's leeward position, which is why boats out of nearby resorts and marinas often run trips to this stretch of coast.
