About this site
Cape Sie sits along the coastline of Rinca Island within the Komodo National Park area of West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. Rinca lies just south of the larger Komodo Island, and dive sites around its shores are typically reached by boat from Labuan Bajo on Flores. The reef here is rated a beginner dive despite strong currents that divers should be prepared for, and visibility is generally great. Grouper, Napoleon wrasse, snapper, and sweetlips are regularly encountered on the reef, while divers have also reported barracuda, fusiliers, manta rays, nudibranchs, trevally, and even wobbegong sharks passing through.
