Capo Grecale

Capo Grecale marks a headland on Lampedusa, the largest of the Pelagie Islands, sitting in the Mediterranean between Sicily and the coast of Tunisia. The site is a wall dive reaching a maximum depth of around 40 metres and is rated advanced. Diving around the island's capes typically means access by boat from the harbor at Lampedusa town, given the exposed nature of these northern and eastern points. Divers here have reported loggerhead turtles and common bottlenose dolphins passing along the wall, along with goldband goatfish, lesser amberjack, silver puffer, and marbled crab on the reef itself. Mauve stinger and fried egg jellies have also been spotted drifting past, along with yellow cluster anemone on the rock.
