Carabao Islad

Carabao Island lies in Romblon province in the Philippines, part of the Sibuyan Sea island group, and the wall here reaches a maximum depth of around 40 metres, rated an advanced dive with good visibility. Romblon's waters are known for their volcanic seabed topography and marine biodiversity, and boats to sites around Carabao typically run from Romblon town or Tablas Island. Divers have reported a wide range of life along the wall, including angelfish, barracuda, batfish, clownfish, grouper, seahorses, parrotfish, snapper, trevally, triggerfish, and tuna, along with larger passers-by such as manta rays, whale sharks, dugongs, and Napoleon wrasse. Sea snakes have also been noted at the site, so divers should keep an eye out along the reef and wall structure.
