About this site
Cave Corner sits along a reef edge near Meeru Island in North Male Atoll, part of the Kaafu Atoll administrative region in the Maldives, and is reached by boat from the resort island in the channel and reef terrain typical of this stretch of the atoll. It's rated an advanced dive to a maximum depth of around 30 metres, with overhangs and underwater caves that give the site its name and its main hazards. Divers have reported nudibranchs on the reef structures here, and there has even been a whale sighting reported at the site.
