About this site
Cave Tunnel lies along Zakynthos' limestone coastline in the Ionian Sea off western Greece, in the karst terrain typical of the island's southern capes and the Keri area, where cliffs and inlets have been cut into cavern-like formations. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 35 metres and is rated an intermediate dive. As the name suggests, it involves an overhead environment, which divers have flagged as a hazard to be mindful of when working through the tunnel section.
