About this site
This wreck lies off Malapascua Island, resting in the Visayan Sea. A Japanese freighter sunk during WWII, it sits upright in 30 meters. The structure is intact, covered in soft corals and home to schools of batfish, barracuda, and occasional thresher sharks. Strong currents bring nutrient-rich waters, boosting visibility and marine life. Best for advanced divers due to depth and occasional surge. The wreck's history and thriving ecosystem make it a standout dive.
